These 20-minute red velvet cake mix cookies are soft and easy to create with only 4 ingredients!

I was wary of cake mix cookies for years.  I kept worried they wouldn't taste like homemade cookies.

Cake mix—this recipe uses a 15.25-ounce package.  Many major brands have those-sized cartons.  If the box is near in size, you may make the dish as is—it's forgiving.

Cookie scoop - Scooping dough with a cookie scoop or ice cream scoop is easy.  Linking to my recipe-specific one.

After scooping the dough onto the baking sheet, softly press a couple more chocolate chips on top to make your cookies beautiful.

Pudding-infused cake mixes make cookies even softer.  This Betty Crocker brand is popular.

Any cake mix works with this recipe!  Chocolate, vanilla, Funfetti, Spice Cake, Lemon, Carrot Cake, Cherry Chip, Devils Food, Strawberry.

Mix it up with different add-ins!  Sprinkles, m&ms, chopped candy bars, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, toffee chips, peppermint chips, andes mints.

Mixing the dough ahead of time and freezing it into balls makes these cookies even easier.

Stay tuned for developments.
